Banque des Mascareignes implements Sopra Banking’s Amplitude solution

Paris, 30 October 2015 – As part of the BPCE group’s international subsidiary’s Harmonisation of Information Systems’ project, Banque des Mascareignes has chosen to implement Sopra Banking Amplitude.

BPCE International & Outre-Mer who are responsible for the development of international activities for the retail banks of the group, have chosen the integrated core banking solution Sopra Banking Amplitude for their international subsidiaries. Sopra Banking Amplitude currently equips 5 subsidiaries of the group: Natixis in Algeria, BICEC in Cameroon, BCI in Congo, BMOI in Madagascar and BTK in Tunisia.

BPCE decided in November 2014 to migrate from Banque des Mascareignes’ existing system to Sopra Banking Amplitude. The work started last February in Mauritius and should be completed by mid-2016.

With an integrated approach, broad business coverage for the functions of banking production and multi-channel distribution for the digital world, Sopra Banking Amplitude is the solution of reference for an integrated core banking system.

Sopra Banking Software supports over 600 banks of which 150 are on the African continent; in their development and in their international strategy, through a long term partnership approach.
