Dutch group ABN AMRO, headquartered in Amsterdam, has a rich history dating back over two centuries. ABN AMRO was looking to sharpen its competitive edge with its subsidiary, MoneYou, that offered direct, online banking services under the slogan “geen gedoe” (“no hassle”). For this to become a reality, MoneYou called upon Sopra Banking Software for the 2008 launch of its savings products in the Netherlands, as well as its 2011 and 2012 launches in Germany and Belgium.
